What We Do 

Pheasantland Industries oversees operational management of the commissary program, which delivers essential services to the Department of Corrections while providing the workers with valuable, real-world job skills.

The program is a joint venture with a supplier to leverage expertise in warehousing, distribution, and logistics. The supplier provides inventory and fulfillment resources, while Pheasantland Industries supplies labor, manages the warehouse, and oversees daily operations.

Through this program, workers can gain hands-on experience in inventory management and pick-and-pack fulfillment processes, with opportunities to earn forklift certifications. As national demand for trained warehouse workers continues to grow, participants are gaining relevant skills that support successful reentry and access to competitive starting wages.
